Christian Organizations
The University of Evansville offers many options for students practicing the Christian faith. The University also sponsors a campus-wide worship service called "Unity in Praise" during the Spring semester. Below are the official campus Christian organizations.
Encounter
Encounter meets on Tuesdays at 8 PM in Grabill Lounge (in the basement of Neu Chapel). Encounter thrives on relationships. We desire real, authentic relationships that prepare us for life. Come join us as we seek a better understanding of life and how to live it through relationships with each other and with God.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
A student led "huddle", which provides a weekly opportunity for growth in faith through singing praises and small group Bible studies. While this is an athletically- affiliated group, many non-athletes attend and are certainly welcome.

Habitat for Humanity
A non-profit Christian organization that holds weekly meetings and plans Saturday worksites at local houses under construction. UE's Habitat members make a big difference in the Evansville community.

Intervarsity Christian Fellowship
In response to God's love, grace and truth:
The Purpose of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is to establish and advance at UE witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for God, God's Word, God's people of every ethnicity and culture and God's purposes in the world.

Kappa Chi
A co-ed Christian service fraternity open to any interested student. The group has weekly meetings on Mondays to fellowship together and to plan service projects. Service opportunities range from raising money for local and worldwide hunger, serving meals at homeless shelters, tutoring neighborhood children, visiting the elderly and various other community service efforts.

Methodist Temple UMC
Methodist Temple UMC at 2109 Lincoln Ave. provides a variety of hospitality and educational ministries for students as well as the Open Door program which provides students with "adopted" families from the congregation. We may not all believe exactly the same thing, but the people of Methodist Temple believe in God and each other. If you're searching for something to believe in, our hearts, our minds and our doors are always open.

Newman Center
"We are Catholics trying to remain faithful through weekly Mass and service to our community
while having fun and meeting new people."
Newman Ministry takes its name from Cardinal John Henry Newman. Cardinal Newman believed that it was in the best interest of Catholic students to stay informed and enlightened by their faith through staying connected to one another and the Gospel. This campus ministry outreach of the Catholic Diocese of Evansville is located at 1901 Lincoln Avenue, across the street from Koch Center for Engineering and Science.
Mass is celebrated each Sunday on campus in Neu Chapel at 1:00PM and every Wednesday night at 9:30PM. Weekly Dinner Program on Mondays 5:30-7PM.

A weekly gathering for United Methodist students and other curious folks to fellowship with one another, learn more about our United Methodist faith, and love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.
