Special Worship Services
Neu Chapel balances the liturgical calendar and the academic calendar throughout the year. We work to provide special worship services that mark time in the liturgical year, especially those the Church has deemed significant. Below are some of the services we have offered in the past:
- Advent Vespers: A Campus Christmas
- Ash Wednesday Service with the Imposition of Ashes
- Holy Thursday Service of Darkness
- Easter Sunday Festival of the Resurrection
In addition, each year, Neu Chapel joins the University of Evansville in celebrating Founders Day, honoring the University's history and distinguished alumni. This year, we will observe Founders Day on Sunday, February 19, with a special service featuring the annual Edgar M. McKown address, and the presentation of UE's annual Distinguished Alumni Awards.
